About the piece, the reapers do not simply guide souls in afterlife but finds meaning in the lives left behind and looks for a suitable place for them in heaven's ongoing masterpiece. Some souls blaze like candles, some glow like orbs, some shine like stars but each and every one contributes something. The young reaper still has lots to learn and a long loooong way to go...

I'd like to think that every life is meaningful no matter what struggles we face and no matter how we find ourselves to be less than ideal... someone out there finds beauty that we cannot see... just like the reapers in the story.
